
Loberro: the Mysterious Wolf-Dog of Pre-Hispanic Mexico
Among temples, offerings, and ancient ceremonial cities, archaeologists discovered mysterious canids in pre-Hispanic Mexico with characteristics intermediate between dogs and wolves: the “loberros.” Were they real hybrids?
